How our pricing works. We do not publish fixed prices, because a fixed price would either overcharge a couple or underdeliver for a group of nine. Every itinerary is quoted individually against your dates, hotel standard and group size, with everything itemised in writing. Send us your travel window and we will come back within 24 hours with a full quotation and no obligation.

Families with young children, grandparents, and anyone who wants China at a slower pace. The longest drive is about two hours, and almost every day can be shortened without losing anything essential.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can we do this with a two-year-old?
Yes, better than almost any other route we run. Short drives, flat riverside walks, bicycle child seats available, and the terraces can be reached by cable car instead of on foot. We will slow the itinerary down and skip the steepest sections.
Is the river cruise worth it if we are prone to motion sickness?
The Li River cruise is on a large, stable, four-deck boat on a calm river, not a small craft. Motion sickness is not usually an issue. The bamboo raft on the Yulong River is on still water and is a short 40-minute ride.
What about halal food in Yangshuo?
Better than you would expect for a small town. There are halal-friendly restaurants in the centre, and we work with two that will prepare dishes to order. On the cruise we arrange a halal lunch box instead of the standard buffet.
How much does the tour cost?
We quote each itinerary individually based on your dates, hotel standard and group size. Send us your travel window and party details and you will have an itemised written quote within 24 hours.
