Is the tour genuinely private, or will we join a group?
Genuinely private. One booking means one party: your own vehicle, driver and guide for the whole trip. We never combine bookings, never run coach departures and never include shopping stops. A party of two receives a car for two.
Do we need a visa for China?
Most likely not. Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai and Bruneian ordinary passports can currently enter mainland China visa-free for up to 30 days per entry, and a number of other nationalities qualify for 30-day visa-free entry or 240-hour visa-free transit. Send us your passport details and we will confirm your exact position in writing before you pay anything.
Can we start in a city other than Beijing or Shanghai?
Yes, and many guests do. Fly into whichever city suits your airline and budget — Guangzhou, Kunming, Chengdu and Xiamen are often cheaper than the big two — and we meet you at arrivals and build the route outward from there.
Can you arrange halal food and prayer facilities?
Yes. We plan halal or Muslim-friendly dining in every city on your route and note prayer times and nearby mosques on your daily itinerary. Xi'an's Muslim Quarter, Guangzhou, Beijing's Niujie district and Linxia in Gansu are the highlights. Where a meal cannot be guaranteed, we say so in writing.
We only need flights, train seats or a cruise. Can you help without a tour?
Certainly. Our ticketing desk handles flights into and within China, high-speed rail seats, and boat or cruise reservations as standalone services, with no tour package required. Send us your route and dates for a quote.
How do we pay, and can we pay in Ringgit?
We accept bank transfer in MYR, SGD, THB and USD, along with cards and major online wallets. Most guests pay a deposit to confirm and settle the balance before arrival. Every payment step, receipt and confirmation is documented in writing.
How much does a trip cost?
Every itinerary is quoted individually, because the price depends on your dates, hotel standard, group size and how many internal flights are needed. We do not publish fixed prices, because a fixed price would either overcharge small groups or underdeliver for larger ones. Send us your dates and details and you will have an itemised written quote within 24 hours, with no obligation.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to six months is comfortable for peak periods — Chinese New Year, the May holiday and October Golden Week, when trains and hotels fill quickly. Tibet needs about two months because of permit processing. Outside those windows, shorter notice is often workable, so it is always worth asking.
What happens if something goes wrong while we are in China?
You have a dedicated WhatsApp number for your trip that reaches a real coordinator on the ground, not a call centre. Missed trains, changed flights, sudden illness and weather closures are all handled locally, and we re-plan the day around you at no extra planning cost.
Do you book international flights from Malaysia or Singapore?
Yes, through the same ticketing desk. We route you on the shortest non-stop options first and only suggest a connection when it clearly helps. You do not need to book a tour with us to use it.
Can we speak to a woman advisor or request a woman guide?
Yes. Tell us when you write and we will arrange it, subject to availability in the city and season you are travelling in.
What languages do you answer in?
English, Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Arabic and Turkish. Our guides speak English and, where available, Malay and Mandarin.
